Jerri Nell Barron

Jerri Nell Barron age 85 of Smithville passed away at her residence Wednesday July 22, 2026. She was born December 23, 1940 to her parents the late Otto and Kenneth Jones Eppes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Barron; son, Christopher Barron. She was a Christian and worked as a Pharmacist. Mrs. Jerri is survived by son, Mark (Sharon) Barron of Smithville; grandsons, Donald (Windy) Barron and Joseph (Sandy) Barron; cousin, Sister Trudy of Memphis. The family has honored Mrs. Jerri's request to be cremated, and graveside services will be held at a later date. The family ask in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the DeKalb Animal Coalition in memory of Mrs. Jerri. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is honored to care for the Barron family.
