Jerry Edward Herman

Mr. Jerry Edward Herman age 63 of Liberty, passed away Monday June 7, 2021 at his residence in the Pea Ridge Community.  He was born March 18, 1958 to his parents, the late Ewin Herman and Josie Anderson Herman Hobbs.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 sister, Judy Womack.  He was a member of the Mt. Moriah The Baptist Church.  Jerry worked for Cumming Signs for 13 years and with the Board of Education as a custodian for over 10 years.  He is survived by his wife, Murinna Herman of Liberty; 2 daughters, Leslie (Zane) McKee of Lascassas and Olivia (Matthew) Melton of Auburntown; 6 grandchildren, Allie, Jackson, Brady, Mary Grace, Ava and Ivy; 1 sister, Vicky Murdock of Manchester.  Graveside services and interment will be 1:PM Friday, June 11, 2021 at Mt. Moriah Cemetery with Bro. Leonard Herman officiating.  There will not be any visitation or services held at the funeral home.  Family and friends will meet at the cemetery for the graveside service at 1:PM.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
