Jerry "Frog" Lane Estes

Jerry Lane "Frog" Estes age 64, of Liberty passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at St Thomas DeKalb Hospital ER. He was born July 3, 1961, to his parents the late Alvie Lee Estes and Dixie Cleo Stanley Sweeten.  In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by his wife, Tammye Estes; son, Jerry Lee Estes; sister, Lisa DeVault and Gina Roller; brother, Ricky "Bell" Estes. Mr. Estes was a tree trimmer for many years. He is survived by 4 grandchildren, Austin Estes of Liberty, Destiny and Monie Murphy, Allie Estes all of Smithville; 2 great-grandchildren, Adessa Cantrell and Kingston Zaderiko; 3 sisters, Kathy (Bruce) Chapman of Liberty, Doreen Pedigo of Liberty, Patsy McCoy of Smithville; brother, Jimmy Estes of Liberty; Several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephew, and friends; Special Friends, Will & Bethany Rackley.  Funeral services will be held 3 PM Friday, December 19, 2025, at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Michael Hale officiating and interment to follow in Mt. Ararat Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Friday 10 AM until the time of the service at 3 PM.  The family ask in lieu of flowers donations be made to DeKalb Funeral Chapel to help with funeral expenses.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is honored to care for the Estes Family.
