Jessica Renee Owen

Jessica Renee Owen age 43 of Smithville, passed away Saturday March 6, 2021 at her residence. She was born January 4, 1978 to her parents James Owen and the late Cheryl Lynn Owen.  She was affiliated with the Freewill Baptist Church and worked at Model City for many years. Miss Owen is survived by her father, James Owen of Smithville; 1 sister, Ashley Nichole Owen of Smithville; 1 brother, James Lynn (Jennifer) Owen of Smithville; niece, Haylea Owen; nephews, Christian and Colton Owen. Graveside services will be 1:PM Wednesday  March 10, 2021 at DeKalb Cemetery with Bro. Michael Hale officiating.  There will not be any services or visitation held at the funeral home, family and friends will meet at the cemetery for the graveside service at 1:PM. The family asked that donations be made to DeKalb Funeral Chapel to help with funeral expenses, in memory of Jessica. Due to Covid-19 we ask that you exercise social distancing for the health and safety of everyone.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
