Jewel Ruth (Tuttle) West

Jewel Ruth West age 81 of McMinnville passed away Wednesday morning March 4, 2026, at Willow Branch Health and Rehabilitation in McMinnville.  She was born March 8, 1944, to her parents the late William Oscar and Nellie Mai Redding Tuttle, Sr.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Marx West; grandson, Brian West; sister, Nettie E. Tuttle.  Ms. West attended North Warren Church of Christ and worked in Housekeeping at the nursing home.  She is survived by two sons, Kelvin Dwayne West of Louisiana, and Weston Mark (Judy) West of Clarksville; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three siblings, William O. (Gwen)Tuttle, Jr. of Madison, Nellie Fralix and Sue Tuttle both of Nashville; nieces and nephews also survive.   Funeral services will be held 2 PM Sunday March 8, 2026, at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Mark Parkhurst and Bro. James Luedecke officiating and internment to follow in DeKalb Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Sunday 10 AM until the time of the service at 2 PM.  The family ask in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Breast Cancer Association or North Warren Church of Christ in memory of Ms. Jewel.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is honored to care for the West family.
