Joel Grisham Obituary

Joel Cranston Grisham of Smithville, age 78, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2022 at St. Thomas DeKalb Hospital ER. He was born December 11, 1943 to his parents the late Marshall and Lucille Gentry Grisham. Mr. Grisham was a Christian, served in the United States Air Force and the National Guard, and worked in Maintenace for Brinley and Associates. He is survived by his children, Jason Grisham of Smithville, Marsha Bush of Gordonsville, Jammy Grisham of Smithville and Jeffery (Georgene) Grisham of Short Mountain; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive. The family of Mr. Grisham has honored his request and is being cremated. A private Memorial Service will be held at a later date. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
