Joyce Wanda (Foster) Hall

Joyce Wanda Foster Hall age 86 of the Statesville Community and a longtime resident of Abbeville, AL, passed away Friday afternoon December 15, 2023, at the home of her nephew.  She was born June 9, 1937, in Smithville, to her parents the late Alvie Rosco and Mattie Lee Puckett Foster.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Warren Hall; brothers, John and Rosco Foster; sister, Juanita Redmon; nephews, Mitchell, Mark and Jeff Redmon.  She was a member of the Buckner's Chapel United Methodist Church and was a salesperson with Walmart and Form Fit Rogers.  She is survived by 4 nieces, Vicky Brannon, Jan Sparks, Annette Foster, and Susan Green; 3 nephews, Perry Redmon, Tim Redmon and Tony Foster; several great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be 12:Noon Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Michael Hale officiating and burial will follow in Burton-Ponder Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Wednesday 10:AM until the time of the service at 12:Noon.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
