Karen Faye (Taulbee) Stanfill

Karen Faye Stanfill age 61 of Smithville, passed away Tuesday morning, November 26, 2024 at her residence.  She was born September 18, 1963 in Kentucky, to her parents, the late Charles H. Taulbee and Essie Mae Casey Patterson.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Curtis Patterson; sister, Sharon Greer and brother, Charles L. Taulbee.  Karen was retired from Star Manfacturing and was a Christian.  She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Billy (Allison) Taulbee of Florida; grandchildren, Tegan, Mattilyn and Knox Taulbee; 3 sisters, Lisa Taulbee of Maine, Bonnie Drake of Kentucky and Connie Byrd of Kentucky; 1 brother, Danny Taulbee of Kentucky; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Mark Derrick.  Funeral services will be conducted 1:PM Friday, November 29, 2024 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel and burial will follow in DeKalb Cemetery.  Visitation will be Friday 11:AM until the time of the service at 1:PM.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is honored to care for the Stanfill family.
