Kathryn Ann (Jenkins) Russell

Kathryn Ann Russell age 69, of Smithville, formerly of Crossville, passed away at her residence Monday June 13, 2022. She was born October 3, 1952 to her parents the late Newell and Sarah Johnston Jenkins. Ms. Russell was a member of Crossville First United Methodist Church and attended Smithville First Freewill Baptist Church and worked as a Seamstress. She is survived by her daughter, Andria (Derek) Graham of Smithville; 2 grandchildren, Alexis and Aleeya Graham; brother, Roger Dale (Ellen) Jenkins of Maryville, Tn. The family has honored Ms. Russell's request to be cremated and services are being planned to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to Smithville First Freewill Baptist Church Building Fund or the Monroe Carroll Jr. Children's Hospital, in memory of Ms. Kathryn.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
