Kenneth Dwayne Goodson age 47 of Liberty, passed away Wednesday January 13, 2021 at his residence. He was born July 30, 1973 in Smithville. He was preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Mary and Tilman Campbell; 2 brothers, Darrell and Eric Goodson; step-sister, Brenda Campbell. He was a Baptist and worked as a used car salesman. Dwayne is survived by 2 aunts, Joyce Dean Poss of Smithville and Charlene Allmon of Lebanon; 2 step-sisters, Stacy and Sandy; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Graveside services and interment will be 3:PM Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Oak Grove Cemetery with Bro. Michael Hale officiating. There will not be any visitation or services at the funeral home, family and friends will meet at the cemetery for the graveside service at 3:PM. Due to Covid-19 and social distancing guidelines, please exercise social distancing for the health and safety of everyone. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to DeKalb Funeral Chapel to help with funeral expenses. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
