Kolby Layne Jacobs

Kolby Layne Jacobs age 18 of Smithville, passed away Sunday August 18, 2024, in Sewanee, TN.  He was born July 3, 2006, to his mother Quastaia Braswell.  Kolby was preceded in death by Grandfather: Steve Braswell; 2 Great Grandfathers: Harold Elrod and Billy Braswell.  Funeral services for Kolby will be held 4:PM Thursday at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Ken Lewis officiating and burial to follow in Salem Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will be Thursday August 22, 2024, from 12:Noon until time of the service at 4:PM.  Survivors include his Mother, Quastaia Braswell of Smithville; Sister, Kaylee (Breydan) Hutchings of Sparta; Brother, Alvie Rango Byars; Maternal Grandmother, Lisa Church of Smithville; Maternal Great Grandmothers, Fay Elrod of Smithville; Retha Braswell of Dowelltown; Aunt, Ashley Pierrot of Raleigh, NC; Uncle, Aaron Braswell; Nephew, Cason Hutchings.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is honored to care for the Jacobs Family.
