Larry Eugene Blish

Larry Blish age 72 of Smithville, passed away Friday night, January 16, 2026, at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville.  He was born July 25, 1953, to his parents, the late Edwin Blish and Peggy Hooper Blish Parsley.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Blish; granddaughter, Atlantis Dodson and brother, Lloyd Blish.  Larry was a nursery worker and a Presbyterian and attended Freedom Life Church.  He is survived by a daughter, Stephanie Dodson of McMinnville; grandchildren, LeeAnn Brandon, Kelsi Lee, Allissa Loring, Selena Cole and Zoe Dodson; great-granddaughters, Keilee, Lillie, Amelia, Bellamy and Kennedy along with aunts, uncle and cousins.  Graveside services and interment will be 4 PM Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at DeKalb Memorial Gardens with Bro. Michael Hale officiating.  Family and friends will meet at the cemetery for the graveside service.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is honored to care for the Blish family.
