Larry Rhoady

Larry Eugene Rhoady age 62, of Smithville passed away Saturday July 10, 2021 at his residence.  He was born February 9, 1959 to his parents Robert Boyd and Oneeta Maxine Bain Rhoady.  He was preceded in death by grandparents: Bob and Lillly Mae Rhody and Clifford and Katy Bain; son: Larry Rhoady, Jr.  Mr. Rhoady attended Center Hill Brethren In Christ Church and worked at the Cabinet Factory. He is survived his wife, Sandra Rhoady of Smithville;  children: Jake (Emily) Rhoady  and Jenna (Zac) Rhoady of Indiana; parents: Boyd and Maxine Rhoady of Smithville; grandchildren: Jaxon Rhoady, Eloise Rhoady, Harrison and Owen Marlette, Dalton and Chance Jones, Lila and Austin Rhoady; brothers: Ronald (Jan) Rhoady of Smithville, Michael (Ruthann) Rhoady of Morrison; sister: Judy (Jesse) Esparza of McMinnville; mother-in-law: Doris Caldwell; brother-in-law: Eddie Caldwell; lots of nieces and nephews also survive.  Funeral services will be 3:PM Wednesday July 14, 2021 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Larry Steffee and Bro. Rick Stewart officiating and burial to follow in Gath Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will be Tuesday 3:PM till 7:PM and on Wednesday 10:AM until the time of the service at 3:PM.  In addition to flowers the family ask donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.  Due to COVID-19 the funeral home lounge is closed and No food or drinks are allowed anywhere in the funeral home.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
