Linda Fay Tramel Stanley age 83 of Nashville, passed away on Saturday morning at her residence. She was born July 24, 1942, to her parents, the late Tallmer and Ocie Hale Tramel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Stanley; brother, WJ "Wink" Tramel; sister, Ruth Taylor; brothers-in-law, McKinley Jones and J B Taylor. Linda was an office worker, working in date and accounting. She was a member of the Jerry Baxter Eastern Star. A faithful member of the Donelson First Church, she was active in many different groups within the church. She leaves to cherish her memory, her sister, Margurite Jones of Liberty; sister-in-law, Jane Tramel of Huntsville; nieces and nephew, Teresa Adams, Debbie Collette and Bobby Tramel; great-nieces and nephews, Lauren Harrington, Logan Adams, Emily Collette, Olivia Collette, Mark Tramel and Zachary Fuson; step-daughter, Myra Kay Lancaster and step-son, Christopher Stanley; special friends, Matt and Pam Barton. Graveside services and interment will be 11 AM Monday, July 20, 2026, at DeKalb Memorial Gardens with Bro. Jeffery Smith officiating. There will not be any visitation at the funeral home. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery for the graveside service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Donelson First Church or to the charity of your choice. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is honored to care for the Stanley Family.
