Lynn Crips Griffith was born January 2, 1952, to her parents the late Austin and Lucille (Tincy) Jennings Crips and departed this life Saturday morning, May 9, 2026, at her home. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Tommy and Eddie Crips. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Lynn cherished every moment with her family, whether it was Sunday dinners, ballgames or special events. Her grandchildren were her greatest joy, as she was always their biggest supporter. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 55 years, Roger Griffith; two sons, Chris (Jennifer) Griffith and Ron (Mindy) Griffith; her cherished grandchildren, Kiersten, Aly, Cadee and Zane Griffth all of Smithville; two sisters-in-law, Sue Crips of Alexandria and Gail Crips of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 4 PM Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bros. Bill Robertson and Ryan Crips officiating and burial will follow in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday 12 Noon until the time of the service at 4 PM.
