Mack Nathan Judkins

Mack N. Judkins age 75 of Smithville, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday morning, March 4, 2020 at NHC HealthCare Center in Smithville.  He was born April 7, 1944 to his parents, the late Oliver and Nodia Young Judkins.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers, David S. Carlton and Cooper Judkins; 3 sisters, Ravanell Culwell, Corina Young and an infant sister.  Mack was a nurseryman and member of the Allen's Chapel United Methodist Church.  He is survived by 1 brother, Eddie Roy (Edith) Judkins of Smithville; sister-in-law, Janice Judkins of Smithville; several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews also survive.  Funeral services will be 3:PM Friday, March 6, 2020 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bros. Phil Tollett and Michael Hale officiating and burial will follow in Whorton Springs Cemetery.  Visitation will be Friday 11:AM until the time of the service at 3:PM.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to help with funeral expenses, in memory of Mack.   The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of NHC and Dr. Kevin Rhody for the love and care shown to Mack.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
