Mary Louise House

Mary Louise House age 91 of Dowelltown passed away Monday morning October 18, 2021 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. Miss House was born June 13, 1930 to her parents the late Condell and Mary Lillian Close House.  She was also preceded in death by siblings, Drucy Mai Midgett, Martha Lee Lamberson, Haley J. House, Frances Miller, Ova Lorene Campbell, Sarah Evelyn Nokes, F. D. House, James Lee House, Robert Lee House.  Miss Lou was a Baptist and disabled. She is survived by 3 brothers, Bill (Susan) House of Dowelltown, Carter (Sue) House of Alexandria, and Douglas (Dinah) House of Liberty; several nieces and nephews also survive.  Graveside service and interment will be 1:PM Wednesday October 20, 2021 at Gordonsville Cemetery with Bro. Donald Owens officiating. There will not be any visitation or services at the funeral home, family and friends will meet at the cemetery for graveside service at 1:PM. The family ask that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Lighthouse Christian Camp, in memory of Miss Lou. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
