Mitzi Anne (Crook) Taylor

Mitzi Anne Crook Taylor age 59 of Doweltown passed away Monday morning, September 18, 2023 at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro.  She was born February 28, 1964 to her parents, the late W.C. and Autrey Clayton Crook.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Rev. P.M. and Hattie Clayton and Ewing and Alta Crook.  She was a factory worker.  She leaves to cherish her memory, 1 son, Matthew Ryan Taylor of Dowelltown; 2 sisters, Bettye Crook of Dowelltown and Penny Lou (Jay) Youngblood of Lascassas; 1 brother, Jerry (Brenda) Crook of Smithville; 1 nephew, Jeremy Crook and several cousins.  The family has honored Mitzi's request to be cremated and no services are planned.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to DeKalb Funeral Chapel to help with funeral expenses.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
