Raymond Eugene Joslyn age 81 passed away Friday December 30, 2022 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro. He was born December 10, 1941 in Michigan. He was preceded in death by his parents Chuck and Betty Walker; wife of 55 years, Shirley Joslyn; daughter, Ann Cantrell; grandson, Jacob Cantrell; brother, Larry Joslyn. Mr. Joslyn served in the United States Army, was a member of Temple Baptist Church, and worked at Star Manufacturing. He is survived by daughter, Alice (Paul) Hutchens of Smithville, son-in-law, Ricky Cantrell of Smithville; grandchildren, Ashley (Raymond) Lippart, Andrew Hutchens, Tiffany (Bobby) Price, Bridget (Rainy) Howell, Matthew Cantrell, Hayle (Anthony) Cantrell and Jade Cantrell; great-grandchildren, Raymond Lippart IV, Haven Howell, Rainy Howell, Jr., Quinley Price, Raleigh Cantrell, and Alexander Mofield. Funeral services be held 2:PM Monday January 2, 2023 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Shannon Cantrell officiating and burial to follow in DeKalb Memorial Gardens with Military Honors conducted by the Veterans Honor Guard. Visitation will be Monday 10:00AM until the time of the service at 2:00 P.M. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
