Rhonda Ellen Chapman

Rhonda Ellen Chapman, age 64, passed away May 1, 2023 at her residence in McMinnville. She was born April 28, 1959 to her parents, the late "Dee" and Gladys Walker Nunley. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by grandparents, Buzz and Mary Lou Nunley; siblings, Melvin Nunley, Debra Nunley, Dena Glacier, Deanna Nunley and Kenneth Pack. Ms. Chapman was a Baptist and worked in Nursery. She is survived by 3 children, Greg Sowell of McMinnville, Melissa Nunley of McMinnville, and Jonathan Scott of Smithville; 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and 1 soon to be arriving; 5 siblings, Tommy Pack, Johnny Nunley, Steve (Linda) Nunley, David Jones, Lisa Jones and Donna Dybdal all of McMinnville; aunt, Margie Dodd; several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Friday, May 5, 2023 at 3:00PM with Bro. John Copeland officiating and burial at Jaco-Judkins Cemetery. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery for the graveside service. There will not be any visitation or services held at the funeral home. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
