Richard "Toledo" Schilt Obituary

Richard "Toledo" Schilt age 60 of Smithville passed away Thursday night February 13, 2025, at St. Thomas DeKalb ER. He was born September 28, 1964, to his parents the late Richard Ray & Esther Sickmiller Schilt. He was U.S. Navy Veteran, an avid pool player, auto mechanic, member of AmVets, and former member of the VFW. Survivors include his wife: Doreen Schilt of Smithville; Son: Brandon Schilt of Smithville; 2 Stepsons: Kyle Devers of Manchester, Derek Devers of Ohio; Sister: Lori Yoder of Smithville; Niece: Kiley Yoder of Smithville. The family has honored Mr. Schilt's wishes to be cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is honored to care for the Schilt family.
