Robert "Bob" James Russo

Robert "Bob" Russo age 88, of Smithville, passed away at his residence, on Monday December 5, 2022. He was born April 5, 1934, to his parents the late Nunzio "Tom" and Mary Polidoro Russo. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by stepson, Albert James Voute, III; sister, Lucy Russo; 2 brothers, Alexander and Thomas Russo. He was a Pipe Fitter/ Plumber working more than 45 years Building Nuclear Power Plants in New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Texas. He served in the United States Navy from 1954 to 1958 and was a member of the American Legion. He is survived by wife, Rita Russo of Smithville; stepdaughter, Barbara Voute. Funeral services and Military Honors will be held 2:PM Wednesday December 7, 2022, at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. He will be laid to rest in Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
