Robert "Bob" James Russo

Robert "Bob" Russo age 88, passed away Monday December 5, 2022 at his residence in Smithville. He was born April 5, 1934 to his parents, the late Nunzio "Tom" and Mary Polidoro Russo. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by step-son, Albert James Voute, III; sister, Lucy Russo; 2 brothers, Alexander and Thomas Russo. Mr. Russo was a Pipe Fitter / Plumber having worked more than 45 years building Nuclear Power Plants in New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Texas, he also served in the United States Navy from 1954, to 1958 and belonged to the American Legion. He is survived by wife, Rita Russo of Smithville; step-daughter, Barbara Voute. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel at 2:00PM with Military Honors. Visitation will be Wednesday 12:00Noon until the time of the service at 2:00PM. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
