Ronnie Mac Davis age 71 of Smithville, passed away Saturday evening at TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center. He was born December 28, 1948 to his parents the late Melvin Dolan and Pauline Cope Davis. Ronnie Mac was a self-employed businessman and the owner of Shiney Rock Market. He was a member of the New Union The Baptist Church. He is survived by 2 sons, Patrick (Tabby) Davis of Smithville, Marty (Dawn) Davis of Smithville; grandchildren, Dillon (Jessica) Davis, Jessie (Nick) Pieper and Grace Davis; long-time companion, Donnette Pack of Smithville. Funeral services will be 1:PM Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bros. Brian Jones and B.J. Thomason officiating and burial will follow in New Union Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday 4:PM until 7:PM and Wednesday 10:AM until the time of the service at 1:PM. Due to COVID-19 and Social Distancing guidelines, our pews in the chapel are marked off to respect these guidelines and allow 100-125 for the service. We ask for the health and safety of everyone that you please exercise social distancing. Our lounge is currently closed and No food or drinks are allowed in the funeral home at this time. In addition to flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Under The Bridge Ministry in Nashville, St. Jude's Children's Hospital, American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice, any of these can be made by calling or coming by the funeral home.
