Rosco Frazier of Dowelltown, age 95, passed away Wednesday October 1, 2025, at his home. He was born March 23, 1930, to his parents the late James Douglas and Altie Ashburn Frazier. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Frazier; sisters, Neodia Cantrell, Hazel Frazier, and Virginia Hendrixson; brothers, Azero, Norman, Henry, Lester and Junior Frazier. Mr. Frazier served in the Korean Conflict and was a lifelong farmer. He is survived by two daughters, Wanda Johnston of Manchester and Linda (Wayne) Bush of Smithville; three grandchildren, Derrick (Kristel) Bush, Chris Johnston, and Olivia (Amanda) Bunch; great-granddaughter, Sadie Elaine Bush; one sister, Marie (Horace) Bratcher of Dowelltown; two brothers, Leo (Mildred) Frazier of Chattanooga and Garlon (Ann) Frazier of Liberty. Funeral services will be 12 Noon Monday October 6, 2025, at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Michael Hale officiating and burial to follow in Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday 2 PM until 5 PM and Monday 10 AM until the time of the service at 12 Noon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice, in memory of Rosco.
