Rosemarie (Osvold) Ley

Rosemarie Ley age 95, of Smithville passed away Tuesday November 11, 2025, at NHC Healthcare of Smithville.  She was born September 23, 1930, to her parents the late Johan O. and Anna K. Dunnuni Osvold.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bob" Ley.  Ms. Ley was a member of the Smithville Seventh-Day Adventist Church and worked as a registered nurse for many years.  She is survived by a daughter, Brenda Van Cleave; 2 grandchildren, Michael Van Cleave and Shelly Van Cleave; brother-in-law, Bill (Darlene) Ley.  Graveside services and interment will be 11 AM Friday November 14, 2025, at DeKalb Memorial Gardens with Bro. Dennis Clark officiating. There will not be any visitation or services held at the funeral home, family and friends will gather at the cemetery for the graveside service. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is honored to care for the Ley family.
