Ruth Ann (Cantrell) Prinzivalle

Ruth Cantrell Prinzivalle age 90, of Smithville, passed away Tuesday September 27, 2022, at her residence. Ruth was born December 29, 1931, to her parents, the late Fred Parker and Beulah Frances Ponder Cantrell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Vincent Prinzivalle; siblings, Bill, Lawrence, and Frank Cantrell, Ruby Ballard, and Nell Connolly.  She was a former member of the Order of the Easter Star and worked at Champion Sparkplugs in Detroit. Ruth is survived by daughter, Kim (Steve) Nash of Smithville; stepson, Nick Prinzivalli of Michigan; sisters-in-law, Mary Cantrell Lawson and Jane Cantrell both of Smithville; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held 2:PM Thursday, September 29, 2022, at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Michael Hale officiating and burial to follow in Burton-Ponder Cemetery.  Visitation will be Thursday September 29, 2022, 10:AM until the time of the service at 2:PM. In addition to flowers donations may be made to the DeKalb Animal Shelter or St. Jude Children's Hospital in memory of Mrs. Ruth.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
