Sandra Dean (Hooper Peacock) Turner

Sandra Dean Hooper Peacock Turner age 81 of Smithville passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at NHC of Smithville. She was born July 11, 1944, to her late parents, Herman and Willie Hooper.  In addition to her parents, she is also proceeded in death by an older sister, Emogene Atnip; husband, Paul Turner. Ms. Turner was a member of the Church of God and worked at Magnetek/ Century Electric. She leaves behind a son, Deric Peacock from her first marriage to Leon Peacock; grandchildren, Donnie, Jeriah, Emma, and Malachi; nephew, Dennis Atnip; great nephews, Jordan and Erick Atnip. Funeral services will be 1PM Friday, December 19, 2025, at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Donnie Kelly officiating and burial to follow in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Friday 12 NOON until the time of the service at 1PM. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is honored to care for the Turner family.
