Thomas Claston Beltz age 30, of Sparta passed away Wednesday January 10, 2024 at St. Thomas DeKalb Hospital ER, from injuries received in an automobile accident. He was born December 25, 1993, to his parents, Charles Beltz and Connie Hill Beltz. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Donna Beltz, and Claston and Frona Hill and other extended family. Mr. Beltz served in the United States Marines 2nd Battalion, 10th Division Artillery, Semper Fi Brother! He is survived by his wife, Meaghan Beltz of Florida; parents, Charles and Connie Beltz of Smithville; brother and sister-in-law, Hudson and Alyssa Beltz of Sparta; nieces, Ari Beltz, Remi Beltz, and Josie Beltz; grandparents, Ray and Sharon Carter of North Carolina; mother-in-law, Liberty; siblings-in-law, Tobi and Gray; his fur baby, Tucker; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; extended family and his Brothers In Arms. The family is honoring his request to be cremated and A Celebration of Life will be held 2:PM Sunday, January 14, 2024, at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Friends and Family officiating, Military Honors following. Visitation will be Sunday 10:30 AM until the time of the service at 2:00PM. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is honored to care for the Beltz family.
