Thomas "T.D." Dwayne Thomason

Thomas "T. D." Thomason age 56, of Smithville, passed away Saturday July 22, 2023 at St. Thomas DeKalb Hospital. He was born April 20, 1967 to his parents the late, James Thomason and Rose Petty Thomason Knowles. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Brian Thomason and ex-wife, Sharon Thomason. Mr. Thomason was disabled. He is survived by 4 children, Brandy Thomason, Markus Majka, Charity Thomason and Michael Thomason all of Smithville: 7 grandchildren, Jayden Anderson, Angel Rutland, Kasin Hicks, Anna Marie Thomason, Aubrey Thomason, Riley Thomason, and Maya Thomason; 7 siblings, Ann Certain, Pam Turner, Sandra Petty, Barbie Neal Macias, Jeff Thomason, Chad Knowles, and Jason Knowles all of Smithville; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 1:PM Friday, July 28, 2023 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Billy Martin officiating and burial to follow in Petty Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday 3:PM until 7:PM and Friday 10:AM until the time of the service at 1:PM. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
