Timothy Shattuck Obituary

Timothy Floyd Shattuck born May 6, 1955 to his parents the late Eric and Alma Smith Shattuck. Beloved husband of Debra Sue Shattuck, passed away at his residence Saturday June 18, 2022 at age 67. Amazing father of Steven Michael Shattuck. He is very much loved by family and friends.  Tim served three years in Germany in the Army. Served twenty-two years in New York State National Guard. He was very proud to serve his country.  Also, worked for the State of New York as a developmental aide. Caring for the medically frail with special needs. Then moved to Dowelltown and retired.  Tim attended Snow Hill Methodist Church. His hobbies, were Garding and Wood Working. He also loved his 3 dogs and 6 cats. Tim also volunteered to help with God's Food Panty in Smithville.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Eric and Alma Smith Shattuck. Mr. Shattuck is survived by his wife, Debra Shattuck of Smithville; son, Steven Shattuck of Smithville; grandchild, Gabrielle; brothers, David Shattuck of NY, Donald Shattuck of NY, Gary Shattuck of Mass.; sister Deborah Miller of NY.  A celebration of Life for Tim will be held Saturday July 9, 2022 at 11:AM at Snow Hill Methodist Church with Pastor Kenneth Clayton officiating. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to God's Food Pantry in Smithville, TN. A very special Thank You for your love and support to Patricia Zornow. Also a very special Thank You to the members of Snow Hill Methodist Church for prayers, and love sent to us and for being his church family. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
