Venita (Randolph) Ashburn

Venita Ashburn age 64 of Smithville passed away Sunday October 19, 2025, at her residence.  She was born February 25, 1961, to her parents the late W. C. and Wanda Cronk Randolph. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Janie Phillips.  Mrs. Ashburn formerly worked at H& R Block and was a receptionist.  She is survived by husband, Wayne Ashburn of Smithville; sons, Joshua Jones of Cookeville and Tony Ashburn of Smithville; grandchildren, Katie Washer and Wyatt Washer; sisters, Faye Nelson of White County and Phyllis Gibson of White County; brothers, David Randolph of Cookeville and Phillip Randolph of New Orleans, LA.  Funeral services will be held 1 PM Wednesday October 22, 2025 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Michael Hale officiating and burial to follow in DeKalb Cemetery.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 10 AM until the time of the service at 1 PM.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is honored to care for the Ashburn family.
