Vivian C. Redmon

Vivian Redmon age 66 of Smithville, passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021 at St. Thomas DeKalb Hospital. She was born January 13, 1955 to her parents, the late Louie Brown and Hazel Nell Tittsworth Haynes. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Danny Haynes; sons-in-law, Jammey Sullivan, and C. J. Jatala; aunt, Shelby Tittsworth. Ms. Redmon was a Baptist and worked at Federal Mogul. She is survived by her daughter, Charity Sullivan Jatala of Smithville; grandson, Chase Sullivan of Smithville; sister, Leeann Crips of Smithville; special family members, Chandler and Makenzie Haynes, Kingsley Haynes, Trisitin Haynes, Tracy Haynes, Beverly "Bat" Jones, and Cody Crips; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Graveside services and interment will be 6:PM Tuesday at DeKalb Memorial Gardens with Bro. Bobby Thomason officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday 4:PM until 5:45PM at which time Ms. Redmon will be taken to the cemetery for the graveside service. The funeral home lounge is closed at this time and no food or drinks are allowed in the funeral home. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
