William Michaels

William Michaels age 81, of Smithville, passed away Monday September 27, 2021 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital.  He was born February 24, 1940 to his parents, the late Albert and Betty Mack.  Mr. Michaels attended the Smithville Cumberland Presbyterian Church and worked in construction. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Caroline Michaels of Smithville; children, Robert Matulewich of New York, Kirk Michaels of Alabama, Gwenevere Michaels of Smithville, and Brad Michaels of Virginia; grandchildren, Emerison Michaels and Landon Michaels. The family has honored Mr. Michaels request to be cremated and no are planned.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
