William H. "Red" Clark Obituary

William H. "Red " Clark age 85 of Smithville, passed away Friday, September 2, 2022, at St. Thomas DeKalb Hospital ER.  He was born June 11, 1937, in DeKalb County, to his parents, the late James Harvey and Dovie Myrtle Miller Clark.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Herman Clark; 2 children, Alan Clark and Vickey Jordan; 2 grandchildren, Billy Clark and Brian Clark; 3 brothers, Albert Neal, Luther Neal and Tom Neal.  He was a boat mechanic and owned Red & Alan's Marine for many years.  He is survived by 2 sons, Billy Clark of Sparta and David Clark of Smithville; 6 grandchildren, Joseph Clark, Russell Clark, Dakota Clark, Leah Clark, Wesley Jordan and Morgan Clark; 8 great-grandchildren, Colby Clark, Caden Calrk, Matthew Florida, Billy Clark, Conner Clark, Lyren Clark, Arya Adcock, Jezzy Adcock; 2 sisters, Mary Certain of Smithville and Eline Pepper of McMinnville; several nieces and nephews also survive.  The family has honored Mr. Red's request to be cremated and no services are planned at this time.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
