Sonia Lynn Presley age 61 of Smithville passed away Saturday, August 27, 2016 at her residence.  She was born September 30, 1954 to her parents, the late Robert and Ruby Cantrell Ballard.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jason Lucci and 1 sister, Carolyn England.  She was disabled and worked as a X-Ray Technician for many years.  Sonia is survived by 2 grandchildren, Serena Lucci and Adrian Lucci both of Smithville; several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.  Sonia's family has honored her request to be cremated.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
