Mr. Wiley Roy Jones, Jr. age 90 of Liberty passed away Friday night, August 26, 2016 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville.  He was born July 23, 1926 to his parents, the late Wiley Roy and Ocie Oakley Jones, Sr.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Martha Lee Carter.  Wiley Roy is survived by his wife of 70 years, Patsy Jones of Liberty; daughter, Carolyn (Donnie) Spann of Dickson; 2 granddaughters, Carla Spann of Bellevue and Keri (Joel) Howell of White Bluff; 1 great-granddaughter, Greta Howell; 1 nephew, Mason (Pam) Carter of Liberty.  Wiley Roy was a farmer, retired construction worker and member and deacon of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church.  Funeral services will be conducted 2:PM Monday, August 29, 2016 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Richard Buckner, Bro. Mark Smartt and Donnie Spann officiating and burial to follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery.  In addition to flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Mt Zion Cemetery Fund, in memory of Wiley Roy.  Visitation will be Sunday 1:PM until 8:PM and Monday 10:AM until the time of the service at 2:PM.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
