Glenda Staley

Glenda Staley age 73 of Smithville, passed away Wednesday morning, December 4, 2019 at St. Thomas DeKalb Hospital.  She was born August 19, 1946 in Guntersville, AL.  She was a retired factory worker and a Baptist.  Glenda was preceded in death her parents, Guynell and Jewel "Red" Mabe; husband, Danny Staley; brother, Eddie Mabe and sister, Carol Looney.  She is survived by 2 daughters, Tina Rowland and Lee Ann (Michael) Williams both of Smithville; grandchildren, Zachery (Kristen) Rowland, Hunter and Caleb Williams; 1 great-granddaughter, Kambree Elizabeth Rowland; aunt, Jo Ann (Rodney Wrenn of AL; uncles, Donald (Carolyn) Douglas of AL and Carlon (Jeanette) Mabe of Smithville; brother-in-law, Ronnie Staley of Smithville; sisters-in-law, Regina Cantrell of McMinnville and Beverly Studd of Bethpage; nephews, Don and Jimmy Crips; 2 great-nieces, Stormie and Chloe Crips.  Funeral services will be 11:AM Saturday, December 7, 2019 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Michael Hale officiating and burial will follow in Bonham Cemetery.  Visitation will be Thursday 2:PM until 8:PM, Friday 2:PM until 8:PM and Saturday 9:AM until the time of the service at 11:AM.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
