Welcome.

 To The Families of DeKalb County and Surrounding Communities;

   DeKalb Funeral Chapels has always taken pride in our role as your trusted funeral and cremation provider in DeKalb County.  In the 21 years we have served this community, it has been our honor to stand beside our neighbors through some of their hardest days.

  We are proudly committed to serving you in every way we can, and we promise to continue every service we offer to the greatest extent allowed during the COVID-19 outbreak.

  As we work through stage 2 of the State of Tennessee reopening plan with the safety of our community, client families, our staff members and their families in mind, we want to provide this set of provisional guidelines for funeral and memorial services at DeKalb Funeral Chapel.  As per CDC guidelines, facemasks and social distancing are encouraged.

• Kitchen will remain closed until further notice.  NO FOOD or DRINKS ALLOWED in the funeral home.

• Chapel maximum group size = 100-125 people, with every other pew closed to honor social distancing.

• Graveside services have no size restrictions if social distancing guidelines are observed.

  If you have any questions about how best to navigate a loss or make decisions in the current situation, please don’t hesitate to contact us at 615-597-9400.

We are continually sanitizing our facilities and making every effort to keep the virus from spreading.  We hope that you will trust us to do our service for you and your families as we have done for 21 years.  As we have said, "A life beautifully lived, deserves to be beautifully remembered," and we will see that is done for each family.  May God bless and protect each of us during this time of crisis.

                                "Our Family Caring For Your Family"

Humbly,

Mike, Tara and Staff
