Michael and Tara Hale
To The Families of DeKalb County and Surrounding Communities;
As each of you are aware, we are fighting a pandemic with the COVID-19 Coronavirus. Daily there are new guidelines and our Federal, State and Local Governments are asking individuals and businesses to do everything possible to curve the spread of the virus. The CDC, President and our Governor have set some guidelines that will affect some of the services we provide during this time. First of all, we will be here to serve your family 24 hours a day and can be reached by phone at 615-597-9400. We will not be in the office our normal hours, so if you need to come in to the office, we ask you to call and make an appointment during this time. We humbly ask, that if you feel sick or have been in close contact with someone that is, please do not come to the funeral home. During this time, it is our top priority to keep the safety of your family and our family the main concern.
In accordance with the CDC Guidelines, beginning Monday, March 23, we are taking the following steps to ensure the safety of our Families, Guests and Staff.
* To keep in accordance with the Guideline of 10 people or less in any public gathering, We will have private family visitations/services.
* Graveside services will also keep in accordance with the guideline.
* We will work to give you and your loved one all of the dignity and honor they deserve as soon as this crisis has passed at no additional cost.
* Our lounge will be closed and we ask that no food or drinks be brought to keep within the guidelines of no sit-in eating.
* You know that we are hugging and hand shaking people, however, we ask that you try to avoid hugging and shaking hands or any physical contact.
We are continually sanitizing our facilities and making every effort to keep the virus from spreading. We hope that you will trust us to do our service for you and your families as we have done for 21 years. As we have said, "A life beautifully lived, deserves to be beautifully remembered," and we will see that is done for each family. May God bless and protect each of us during this time of crisis.
