Pattie Brown Johnson

Pattie Brown Johnson age 83 of Liberty, passed away Saturday morning, May 18, 2019 at St. Thomas DeKalb Hospital.  She was born January 13, 1936 to her parents, the late John Robert and Bonnie Inez Martin Johnson.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, John, Frank, Bill, Samuel and Robert Estes; sisters, Ella Murphy, Ova Mathis, Jessie Bauman, Jean Alford and Lucille Brandon.  Miss Johnson was a member of Christ Pentecostal Church and enjoyed knitting and crocheting.  She is survived by 2 sisters, Eula Presley of McMinnville and Christine Murphy of Smithville; 1 brother, Toy Lawson of Liberty and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday, May 20, 2019 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Billy Hale and Bro. Toy Lawson officiating and burial will follow in Salem Cemetery in Liberty.  Visitation will be Monday 10:AM until the time of the service at 1:PM.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
