Charles Wilson Love

Charles Wilson Love age 75 of Smithville, passed away Sunday night September 13, 2020 at his home. Mr. Love was born September 15, 1944 to his parents, the late Charlie and Louvella Love. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Love and sister, Judy Love Merriman. Mr. Love was a Baptist and a sports enthusiast.  Mr. Love is survived by nephew, Don Merriman of Smithville; special family, Shawna Davenport of Murfreesboro, Shawn (Angela) Puckett of Smithville. Funeral services will be 1:PM Friday September 18, 2020 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Shannon Cantrell officiating and burial to follow in Whorton Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday September 18, 2020 at 11:AM until the time of the service at 1:pm. Due to the COVID-19, the Governors Executive Orders 38 and 51 Social Distancing Guidelines; Our pews in the Chapel are marked off to respect the guidelines and allow approximately 100 -125 people for the service, we ask for the health and safety of everyone that you please exercise Social Distancing. The Funeral Home Lounge is Closed and NO Food or Drinks are allowed in the funeral home.  In addition to flowers, the family asks that donations be made to DeKalb  Funeral Chapel to help with funeral expenses. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
