Christy Jean Cunningham Martin age 36 passed away at her residence in Smithville on Wednesday March 24, 2021. She was born November 7, 1984 to her parents, Troy Allen Lee Cunningham and Pamela Jean Barrett. She worked as a telemarketer and a waitress. She is survived by her children, Isaac Martin of Smithville, Allie Evans of Murfreesboro and Zaylyn Anderson of Smithville; companion, Steven Anderson of Smithville; father, Troy (Sandra) Cunningham of Union City; mother, Pamela Barrett of Smithville; brother, Troy Cunningham, Jr. of Smithville; sister, Amber Cunningham of Dresden, TN. Funeral services will be held 1:PM Monday, March 29, 2021 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Davey Horton officiating. Visitation will be Monday 11:00AM until the time of the service at 1:00PM. The family asked that donations be made to DeKalb Funeral Chapel to help with funeral expenses, in memory of Christy. Due to COVID-19 and social distancing guidelines, we ask for the health and safety of everyone that you please exercise social distancing. The pews in the chapel are marked off to respect these guidelines and allow 100-125 people for the service. The funeral home lounge is closed at this time and NO food or drinks are allowed in the funeral home.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
