Daphne Kay (Sadler) Brock

Daphne Kay Sadler Brock age 50 of Smithville passed away Wednesday afternoon, December 30, 2020 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro.  She was born October 14, 1970 in Gallatin to her parents, the late Herbert Lavon and Virginia Rhea Mayfield Sadler.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a stillborn infant son, Gregory Ray Brock.  She was a homemaker.  She is survived by her husband, Mark Brock of Smithville; children, Johnathan Brock, Jordan River Brock and Jenna Ray Brock all of Smithville; brother, Everette Sadler of Westmoreland, TN; sister, Gena Wright of Bethpage, TN.  The family has chosen a direct cremation and a Memorial Service will be held 1:PM Thursday, January 7, 2020 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Michael Hale officiating.  Visitation with the family will be on Thursday 12 Noon until the time of the service at 1:PM.  Due to Covid-19 and social distancing guidelines, we ask for the health and safety of everyone that you please exercise social distancing.  The funeral home pews are marked off to respect these guidelines and allow 100-125 for the service.  The funeral home lounge is closed and no food or drinks are allowed in the funeral home at this time.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
