Deborah Sue Gerard

Deborah Sue Gerard age 61 of the Gassaway community passed away Monday morning, November 25, 2019 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.  She was born May 3, 1958 at Fort Belvoir, VA.  Deborah was preceded in death by her father, Robert Gerard.  Deborah was a Steamstress Extraordinaire, Steam punk, the owner of Time Traveler Outfitters Costume Design in Smithville.  She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Kevin James of Gassaway; son, Lee (Jennifer) Polston of Macon, GA; 2 grandchildren, Jackson and Amelia; mother, Dorothy Gerard and many friends.  The family has honored Deborah's request to be cremated and a Memorial Service will be held 2:PM Friday, December 6, 2019 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Family and Friends sharing memories and celebrating the life of Deborah.  Visitation with the family will be on Friday 1:PM until the service at 2:PM.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
