Elaine Fine Close

Elaine Close age 65 of Smithville, passed away Thursday August 1, 2019 at her daughter's residence in Smithville. She was born March 7, 1954 to her parents, the late Nathan and Margaret Fine. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Wesley Fine; a niece, and 2 nephews. Mrs. Close was a homemaker. She was a member at Cedar Key First Baptist Church and an Electa member of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Close is survived by her husband, Dwayne Close of Smithville; children, Brian Nathan Fine  (Leighann Francis) of FL., Shayna (Brandon) Taylor of Smithville, Kirby (Kyle) Morton of McMinnville; grandchildren, Bryce Francis, Orla Fine, Blake Fine, Bryli Fine, Caleb Taylor, Caley Taylor, Madison Taylor, Aubree Taylor, Kylee Morton, Kailyn Morton, Kamden Morton; sisters, Wanda (Doug)Castell, Patty Jo (Michael) Lackey, Carolyn (Frank) Mammano all of FL.,and Vickie Hobbs of Dowelltown; brothers, Daryl Nathan Fine and Jeff Fine both of FL.; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be 4:30 PM Sunday August 4, 2019 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Michael Hale and Bro. David Frazier officiating and burial to follow in DeKalb Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Sunday 12 noon until the time of the service at 4:30. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
