James Douglas Frazier, Jr.

James Douglas Frazier, Jr. age 82 of Alexandria, passed away Thursday morning, March 11, 2021 at his granddaughter's home in Smithville.  He was born January 16, 1939 to his parents, the late James Douglas and Lera Altie Ashburn Frazier.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 sister, Hazel Frazier and 4 brothers, Azero, Norman, Henry and Lester Frazier.  He was a carpenter and a Baptist.  Junior is survived by 3 children, Kim (Gene) Williams of Alexandria, Shane (Beth) Frazier of Smithville and Kyshanna Frazier of Alexandria; grandchildren, Caressa Parker, Caleb Parker and Peyton Frazier; great-granddaughter, Trinity Parker; siblings, Roscoe (Pauline) Frazier of Dowelltown, Leo (Mildred) Frazier of GA, Neodia Cantrell of Dowelltown, Marie (Horace) Bratcher of Dowelltown, Virginia (Joe) Hendrixson of Liberty and Garlon (Ann) Frazier of Liberty; several nieces and nephews also survive.  Funeral services will be 2:PM Saturday, March 13, 2021 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Michael Hale officiating.  Visitation will be Friday 4:PM until 7:PM and Saturday 10:AM until the time of the service at 2:PM.  Due to Covid-19 and social distancing guidelines, we ask for the health and safety of everyone that you please exercise social distancing.  The pews in the chapel are marked off to respect these guidelines and allow 100-125 people for the service.  The funeral home lounge is closed at this time and no food or drinks are allowed in the funeral home.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
