Jesse Kenneth VanDyne, Sr.

Jesse Kenneth VanDyne, Sr. age 80 passed away Saturday March 26, 2022 at his residence.  He was preceded in death by Daughter: Penny VanDyne; Son: Jesse VanDyne, Jr.  Funeral Services will be held 2:PM Tuesday at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Teresa Wright officiating.  Visitation with the family will be Monday 3:PM until 7:PM and Tuesday 11:AM until the time of the service at 2:PM.  Survivors include his wife of 63 years Sharon VanDyne of Smithville; Children: Christine (Frank) Elliott, Todd VanDyne, Danny (Susan) VanDyne all of Smithville, Stephen VanDyne and Timothy VanDyne both of Florida; Several Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great Grandchild; several brothers and sisters;1 step-granddaughter; 2 step-great granddaughters; lifetime friend, Bucky Doolittle of Spencer, NY also survive.  The Funeral Home lounge is closed at this time and NO FOOD or DRINKS are allowed in the building.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
