Jill Marie Jackson-Lancaster

Jill Marie Jackson- Lancaster age 59, of Smithville, passed away March 19, 2023 at her residence. She was born October 6, 1963 to her mother, Jeanne Downs Meddaugh and her late father, Russell Meddaugh. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Chuck and Jean Connley. Ms. Jill attended Keltonburg United Methodist Church and worked as Department Manager for Special Needs. She is survived by husband, William J. Lancaster of Smithville; children, Stephanie (Donny) Agee of Smithville, and Rebecca Jackson of Smithville; grandchildren, Tayter Jackson, Leslie Carey, Aryanna Marks, Toby Agee, Jaxen Agee, Maverick Agee; mother, Jeanne Meddaugh of New York; sister, Pamela Mason of Maine; brother, Adam Meddaugh of FL. The family has honored Ms. Jill's request to be cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in New York. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
