Linda Gail Burke

Linda Gail Burke age 67, of Smithville, passed away Friday morning March 31, 2023, at her sister's home in Smithville. She was born September 3, 1955, to her parents the late Luther Phillips and Ruby Hamby. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Burke; brothers, David Phillips, L. M. Phillips, and Michael Joe Rayder; sisters, Lola Dean Minton and Nola Jean Farmer; nephew, Shane Usrey. Ms. Burke attended the Smithville Church of The Nazarene and was a Beautician. She is survived by 3 sons, Phillip Geoge, Scott George, and Roger Turner; siblings, Joyce Ann Watson, Debbie George, Wilma Bouldin, Ruby Janice Cripps and Jimmy Rayder; 6 nieces and 9 nephews; dear friend, Joyce Tiger. The family has honored Ms. Burke's request to be cremated and no services are planned. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
