Millisa White Obituary

Millisa Darlene White age 68 of Dowelltown passed away Sunday, September 27, 2020 at her residence. She was born March 31, 1952 to her parents, the late Millard and Fannie Bell Smith Arterburn. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husband, Charles White; son, Jimmy Nicholson; siblings, Margaret Winters and James Burton. Ms. White was retired  as an office clerk with the Department of Human Services and was a member of New Life Apostolic Church in Carthage. She is survived by children, Annette (Mike) Bodily of Dowelltown, and Steve (Audrie) Nicholson of Gordonsville; grandchildren, Joseph Bodily, Brandee Ryan, Matthew Bodily, Chealsea Nicholson, Cody Nicholson, Shelley Nicholson, Caleb Nicholson; great-grandchildren, McKenize Bodily, Karson Bodily and 1 expectant great-grandson; brothers, Bill Arterburn of Nashville, and  Frank Litchford of Mt. Juliet; sister, Pam Litchford of Murfreesboro. A worship service will be held at New Life Apostolic Church in Carthage, Saturday, October 10, 2020 at 2:00PM with Pastor Clayton Neal officiating. Family and Friends will meet at the Church at 2:PM for the worship service. In addition to flowers, donations may be made to the New Life Apostolic Church in Carthage Building Fund. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
